The evaluation begins with an in-depth clinical interview including the history of the condition that is contributing to the cognitive changes. Assessment measures are chosen based on the individual’s needs and history. Once the assessment is complete, the report is available within 2 weeks. The report includes a comprehensive analysis of the individual’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses based on the assessments. Recommendations that are relevant to the individual are provided and may include exercises for improving cognitive skills, compensatory skill recommendations, environmental changes that may help to improve functioning, further interventions, and community resources available. Please note that each evaluation typically takes 8 to 10 hours of direct client contact.
