Avilio A. Vieira, Psy.D.

Dr. Vieira is currently completing his Post-Doctoral Residency at Oasis Psychological Services. He earned his doctorate and master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Phoenix. Dr. Vieira’s therapeutic experience comes from working in a variety of settings including juvenile corrections, community mental health centers, private practices, and his most recently completed clinical psychology internship at the University of Colorado, Boulder’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services. This range of experience has allowed Dr. Vieira to work with and learn from individuals with diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns. Dr. Vieira specializes in gender and sexuality issues, including LGBTQ affirmative therapy, Trans specific care (assessment, exploration, and referral letters for Hormone Therapy and Gender Affirming Surgeries following WPATH standards of care), individual, group, and family therapy, and adolescent / young adult issues. Dr. Vieira’s approach in therapy emphasizes client directed outcomes, affirmation, authenticity, openness, collaboration, and respect.

At Oasis Psychological Services, Dr. Vieira directs the Gender and Sexuality (LGBTQ*) Program, offering individual, group, and family therapy for LGBTQ* identified individuals ages 13+. Dr. Vieira also offers therapeutic support for families and support networks of LGBTQ* identified individuals. Additionally, Dr. Vieira conducts evaluations for medical transition referrals (Hormones and Surgery) to the Trans community.

Jessica Leclerc, Psy.D.

Dr. Leclerc is the Executive Clinical Director of Oasis Psychological Services. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Phoenix and has worked in the field for 16 years.

S. Bryce Bennett, Psy.D.

Dr. Bennett is a licensed psychologist in the state of Arizona. He earned his Doctorate and Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University, Glendale.

Jennifer Jones-Greenspon, Psy.D.

Dr. Jennifer Jones is a licensed psychologist who has been working with juvenile offenders for 15 years. She was recently employed as the psychologist at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections.

Sandra Knight, Psy.D.

Dr. Knight has worked in the field of psychology for 13 years. She earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Phoenix after interning at Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Pennsylvania.

Nicole Pondell, Psy.D

Nicole Pondell, Psy.D. is a psychologist licensed in the state of Arizona. Dr. Pondell works as an independent contractor and works with other established agencies to provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment for individuals whom have been accused of or convicted of a sexual offense.

Sarah Stookey, Ph.D.

Dr. Stookey received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Temple University. She has been working in the field of psychology for 28 years and obtained her first licensure 18 years ago.
